ILLO+PRINT 1 - "Maternidad, por Eternidad"

ILLO + PRINT is an ongoing collaborative series of limited edition letterpress prints that have been illustrated or designed by a local artist. (Illo = short for illustration) Each edition will be shared between the artist and myself and will be for sale for a unified price through our respective shops.

We are so pleased to announce the artist featured for our very first ILLO+PRINT edition is Andres Garzon with “Maternidad, por Eternidad” (Motherhood, for Eternity)

Andres Garzon is a multidisciplinary artist based in London, Ontario. His practice explores themes of home, family, community, love, immigration, and queer identity. Andres’ artwork and writings have been featured in MUSE Magazine, See Collective, and Huron & Erie Regional Digest. He is a current resident artist at Good Sport Gallery & Studio. "Maternidad, por Eternidad " is a celebration of motherhood and childhood alike; visualizing the eternal cycles of teaching, learning, love, and patience that are felt between mother and child, through the passage of wisdom and time.

Product description: One colour letterpress print on beautiful off-white textured paper, printed with a fresh light green ink. Embossed, titled, signed and numbered by hand. Limited edition of 50 prints. Measures 11x17”.
